Statistics spanning several decades enable UNCTAD to conduct research on both long-standing and emerging development issues, and to formulate policy analysis. In addition, the recent financial and economic crisis has served as a reminder of how important accurate and timely statistics are.

The topics categorisation site lists these topics:

Manual access

The main table web application allows teh user to select indicators, countries etc. and view the data.

The web application appears to be quite modular with drag'n'drop element rearangement, additional percentage calculations etc.

Export formats:

The Merchandise trade by partner and product category gives "network" data about import/export of selected products between two or more selected countries. Tracked from 1995 to present.

Conclusion

Seems very promising, but no API.
