Future developments

We plan to extend database of country level socio-economic indicators with other types of data on country level:

• Trade data between countries
• COMTRADE data
• Country-exports by products (C.Hidalgo datasets)
• Finance related data – in cooperation with other project partners
• Investigate possibility to include indicators based on unstructured data produced by other project partners
• Add new types of crises related events (e.g. recessions in different economies)

and produce more consolidated datasets/cases suitable for different types of association analysis or predictive/forecast modeling.We are also working on an interactive tool with visualization aide for an ad-hoc construction of datasets from the consolidated database.
